Notes
After studying Product Design at the Academie Beeldende Kunsten Maastricht, I worked as a designer for twenty years before deliberately switching to photography and training in conceptual photography at the Fotoacademie Amsterdam. Since then I have built a practice in event, corporate, product and sport photography, working for businesses, brands and several magazines throughout the Netherlands. Alongside my commissioned work I create fine art series, leading to my first solo exhibition “Dieper dan de Huid” in 2026.

Before photography, I worked as a designer for twenty years. I know how an image needs to land on a page, a website or in a campaign.
My work ranges from events and conferences to employee portraits, workplace stories, product photography for beauty, food and drink brands, and sport and fitness shoots. I have shot for several magazines and know my way around briefings, deadlines and print-ready delivery.
Most people I photograph aren’t used to a camera. I guide them through it, so the result feels relaxed and real.
Trained at the Fotoacademie Amsterdam (conceptual photography). Own studio available.
I’m a photographer for events, business, sport and fine art, based in the Amsterdam area and working throughout the Netherlands.
Before photography, I worked as a designer for twenty years. That background still shapes how I work: I think in layouts, campaigns and pages, and I know how an image needs to land, with room for text, both portrait and landscape options, and a clear visual story.
At events and conferences I work quietly and attentively, capturing the atmosphere, the speakers and the moments in between. For businesses I photograph employee portraits, workplace stories and employer branding. I also have extensive experience in product photography for beauty, food and drink brands and webshops, and I regularly shoot sport and fitness.
I have photographed for several magazines, so I’m used to working with briefings, tight deadlines and print-ready delivery.
Most people I photograph aren’t used to being in front of a camera. I guide them through it with clear direction and a relaxed approach, so the result feels natural and real.
I trained in conceptual photography at the Fotoacademie Amsterdam, and alongside my commissioned work I create fine art series that are exhibited and sold as prints. I’m a member of the Dutch photographers’ associations DuPho and Tengel.
I work on location throughout the Netherlands and have my own studio available for portraits, products and fitness shoots.
