I create high-quality visual content, from event photography and aftermovies to promotional videos, interviews, and social media content. I combine a creative eye with a strong technical background in cinematography, lighting, editing, and color grading. My focus is on capturing authentic moments, atmosphere, and energy while delivering visuals that align with each brand's identity. I'm Hector, a freelance videographer, photographer, and creative director based in The Hague, Netherlands. I've been working independently in the creative industry since 2019, combining my passion for visual storytelling, music, and design to create content that connects brands, artists, and audiences. Originally from Colombia, raised in Aruba, and now based in the Netherlands, I grew up surrounded by different cultures, languages, and creative influences. This background has shaped the way I approach my work. I'm naturally drawn to music, culture, live performances, and the energy of people coming together. Through PixelStream Media, I work with brands, event organizers, cultural institutions, and creative agencies to produce photography and video content. My experience ranges from concerts, festivals, nightlife, and live performances to branded content, promotional campaigns, interviews, and corporate productions. Over the years, I've worked on projects involving organizations and events such as Korzo, Vunzige Deuntjes, Lovumba, and various cultural and commercial productions. Each project brings a different creative challenge, whether it's capturing the atmosphere of a packed dance floor, documenting a theatrical performance, or creating polished visuals for a brand. My approach combines creativity with technical precision. I handle the entire production process, from creative direction and planning to camera work, professional lighting, editing, color grading, and final delivery. My background in UI/UX design also gives me a strong understanding of composition, branding, and visual communication. What drives me most is capturing moments that feel authentic. I believe great visual content should do more than just look good. It should communicate emotion, tell a story, and reflect the identity of the people or brands behind it.
