With thousands of clients already in my portfolio, I'm a seasoned photographer who knows exactly what needs to be done. My work ethic is like no other in the business, for example: I deliver all the images, retouched, the same day. Trained in NYC, worked all over the world, trained thousands of photographers, speaks at photography events, wrote 6 books. I'm Maurice, a photographer, entrepreneur, and above all, a family man. Together with my wife, Dayna, I run my photography business, while building our life around the precious moments we share as a family. To me, photography is about more than creating beautiful images. It's about capturing emotions, preserving memories, and celebrating the people who matter most. From the very beginning of my career as a photographer, my goal has always been to bring out the best in people. Whether it's a professional headshot, a family portrait, or an event my passion lies in telling stories through images. Since 2011, I've helped businesses, brands, professionals, and families present themselves at their very best, and it's something I genuinely enjoy every single day. Growing up, my life revolved around sports. Being the best and working hard to get there was part of my daily routine. That all came to an abrupt end after I was involved in a traffic accident, forcing me to find a new direction. I became fascinated by why people choose certain businesses and brands, and how creativity could help companies succeed online. This became my next challenge, and I spent ten years leading various departments within large companies. Over time, the creative side of my work began to shrink, while commercial targets became increasingly important. I gradually lost my passion for what I was doing and started feeling that it was time for a new chapter. I'd been taking photographs for years, and that was when I decided to become a full-time photographer. Helping people bring out the best in themselves had always been at the heart of everything I did. With guidance from renowned photographer Peter Hurley, I seized the opportunity to build a successful photography business. Today, I help businesses and professionals present themselves at their very best, particularly on social media. My competitive nature has driven me to become one of Europe's leading headshot photographers. For years, I worked alongside Peter Hurley to help build HeadshotCrew.com, the world's largest network of headshot and portrait photographers. Along the way, I discovered a new passion: helping photographers build their own personal brands. Through my book, *Personal Branding for Photographers*, I share my knowledge with photographers in the Netherlands, helping them build stronger brands and more successful businesses. I've also launched an international podcast of the same name, which attracts around 500 listeners every month. I also speak at events for sponsors around the world, sharing my expertise and helping entrepreneurs understand the power of visual storytelling in their marketing and branding campaigns. My ability to translate ideas into clear, compelling messages, combined with my innovative approach to photography, has led to regular invitations for interviews in magazines and on radio and television. But beyond my work, I'm a family man. Together with my wife, Dayna, we share a commitment to the values we believe in and the way we want photography and media to make a difference. Today, photography is more than my profession. It's part of who I am. Dayna and I run our business together, focusing on capturing what truly matters, both professionally and personally. On January 27, 2025, we became the proud parents of our daughter, Luna. This new chapter in our lives has made everything even more meaningful.
